Remember our bubbly and ever-so-talented ad intern, Shelby Devonport? Well this Texas Tech alum is kicking butt at her new role as our broadcast coordinator! Shelby’s eye for creativity and style makes her the perfect candidate to lead our set design and photo shoot needs. She makes it through each day’s hectic schedule fueled on puppy love and coffee! What else is Shelby up to these days you ask? Well, we’ve got the scoop for you right here!

Where’d you grow up?
Plano, Texas.

When you’re at a buffet, how many trays of food do you start off with?
Geez, I can’t remember the last time I have gone to a buffet… but that probably means that I had too many trays of food.

Pandora or Spotify?
Spotify. I am practically a non-paid rep for them.

Kliff or Mike Leach?
Kliff. Even though I sat behind him on a plane and couldn’t even ask him for a picture! I didn’t want to be that girl. (I still regret it.)

Crunchy or smooth peanut butter?
Both?

What’s the most money you’ve ever drunkenly spent at McDonald’s?
WHATABURGER. Ain’t nobody got time for McDonald’s! To answer the question…I can’t remember.

What’s your guilty pleasure?
Scrolling on Pinterest for hours.

Who would you let punch you directly in the face?
A T-Rex.

What did you want to be when you grew up?
A stylist of some sort.

Do you make your bed every morning?
No. “You are supposed let the bed air out all day!” My great aunt would always say.

If there was a movie produced about your life, who would play you?
Kristen Wiig.

Outside work, what do you like to do in your spare time?
I love to cook and entertain, look for new treats to make for my puppies, shop, and exercise!

What’s the greatest lesson you’ve ever learned?
“Pray more, worry less.”

What are you secretly good at?
Shopping. I don’t think that’s a secret.

Four things you can’t live without?
God, family/friends, dogs, and FaceTime!

How do you feel about selfies?
I mean who doesn’t love a Snapchat filter?

What was the last picture you took on your phone?
A table setting that I did prop styling for.

Favorite TV show of all time?
Stranger Things!

What do you hope to teach people?
Always give your best effort with anything you do and smile often. I truly believe a smile can go a long way!

What would you do if you didn’t work in advertising?
Maybe be a personal stylist.

What’s your spirit animal?
Pre-workout.

What’s your greatest achievement?
Graduating from Texas Tech. That was an amazing day!

“Grace, Not Perfection” by Emily Ley

7/11…gotta listen to some B!

What’s your favorite song right now?
“Highway Vagabond” by Miranda Lambert 

What five famous people dead or alive would you invite to dinner?
Kate Hudson, Kristen Wiig, Miranda Lambert, Kevin Hart, and Justin Timberlake. I like a variety.

What’s your favorite holiday?
4th of July. A weekend full of BBQ and family…can’t get better than that!

What do you do for fun?
Dance, golf, err shop, FaceTime my sis.

First thing you thought of when you woke up this morning?
Why do I have so many different alarms set with different sounds?!

Favorite country to visit, or wish to visit?
I would love to go to Bora Bora.

How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days

Finding Dory? Idk it was the last movie I watched.

Christmas Vacation.

Cinderella.

I don’t have a clue. I hate fights to be honest.

My niece and nephew.

What was your strangest previous job?
A front-desk administrator for a Yoga Studio.

I love lots of lamps in a room and feather down pillows.
