Employee Spotlight: Elizabeth
Meet our newest team member: Elizabeth Espinoza! Elizabeth has joined our art department as a graphic designer. She is Lubbock born and raised, a Texas Tech Communication Design graduate who loves spending time with her family and her dog, Ziti.
After updating our employee take-out order spreadsheet (priorities!), some super important questions were asked of her by her new co-workers, which we thought we’d share with you:
When you’re at a buffet, how many trays of food do you start off with?
Depends. How big is the tray, and where am I eating?
Chili’s or Applebee’s?
If I had to choose, Chili’s.
Pandora or Spotify?
What’s your guilty pleasure?
Opening a book (new or old) and smelling the pages. Ink + paper= magic. Texture is an added bonus. I have no shame.
What would you do if you didn’t work in advertising?
I would still do graphic design.
What’s the greatest lesson you’ve ever learned?
Laugh as much as you breathe and love as long as you live. Life is way too short to be anything but happy.
What did you want to be when you grew up?
An artist, for sure. Or a Power Ranger. The pink one to be exact.
What do you hope to teach people?
Kindness. You can never have too much of it.
What are you secretly good at?
Cooking and baking.
Wow, thanks for agreeing to bake cookies for the whole office! Talk about never having enough kindness.
. . . . . . . .
What’s your greatest achievement?
(This one’s pretty mush-tastic). Definitely marrying my soulmate and having each others back through this roller coaster we call life. I wouldn’t be where I am today without him.
What was the last song played on your Spotify?
Wicked Game by Native Tongue (Chris Isaak cover)
What is your favorite current TV show?
American Horror Story
If there was a movie produced about your life, who would play you and why?
Penelope Cruz. I hear there is a slight resemblance. Plus her accent would totally make my movie that much more awesome.
What was the last picture you took on your phone?
My guilty pup after she tore up her bed and dismembered her toy elf after her first few hours of “freedom” from her kennel- with no supervision. She took full advantage.
